Client: Branksome Hall

Founded in 1903, Branksome Hall is a leading independent school offering a unique education experience for girls in junior kindergarten through to Grade 12. The school, which also offers the International Baccalaureate (IB) program, is located in mid-town Toronto and will open Branksome Hall Asia on Jeju Island, South Korea, in late 2012.

Situation

Branksome Hall needed to update its main school website and wanted to be able to manage the site internally. The school was also interested in taking advantage of the Microsoft Sharepoint development environment to better manage back-office resources like student academic and financial records, and other documentation with a single, integrated system.

Branksome Hall turned to BMIR, a Microsoft Gold certified partner.

After developing the information architecture and user experience, we designed and built Branksome's new site. We also installed and implemented Microsoft Sharepoint on the client's servers. We then provided training for Branksome's IT staff so they'd be able to maintain and update its new site without outside supplier assistance.

Bottom Line

Branksome continues to manage its website, effectively presenting its "My Remarkable" messaging to parents and students, as well as alumnae, faculty and staff in Toronto, across Canada and around the world.
