Finalists for the mediaFRESH 2010 Digital Alberta Awards were announced today, and Bryan Mills Iradesso is responsible for two of the five web sites selected as finalists in the Best Non-Commercial Web Site category.
The web sites are for Kidsport Canada and Grande Prairie Public Library.

Recognition for McCain Foods’ First CSR Report
Although corporate social responsibility has always been a key component of McCain Foods’ business philosophy since it was founded more than 50 years ago, the company only issued its first public CSR annual report – in online form designed and produced by BMIR – in 2009.
Now, Our Journey: McCain Foods’ First CSR Report, has been awarded first place in the PR News annual CSR reports recognition program, presented at the National Press Club in Washington, DC in mid-February. As PR News observes: “Corporate Social Responsibility is one of the key benchmarks of an organization’s overall success and reputation in the marketplace.”

BMIR has launched CCL Industries’ updated corporate website.
The site has a strong investor orientation, with a suite of integrated tools, including automated stock quotes, ratios, price/volume stats and charts right on the site, a site search function and extensive resources in document form, including financial reports and investor presentations. To ensure the site is easy to update, the project included an industry-standard content management system and client training.
