Bryan Mills Iradesso (BMIR), an integrated corporate communications firm, is seeking an experienced investor relations professional to join our Calgary team. The successful candidate will have the ability to work at a strategic level, while also possessing strong account management and tactical skills.

BMIR is a growing company that provides a wide range of innovative and diverse communications services, including investor relations, branding and web solutions. This fast-paced team environment offers a wide range of experience due to our impressive client list and involvement in critical communications projects. The position offers the opportunity to work directly with a diverse and knowledgeable communications team in Calgary, comprising approximately 25 individuals.

Responsibilities:

• provide strategic advice
• manage client and accounts
• work with a team of communications advisors and coordinators
• seize opportunities for business development for investor relations services
• determine client needs and execute communications solutions
• write for and update client communications materials, including websites, financial reports, corporate profiles and presentations
• provide strategic advice, excellent customer service and quick response to client requests

• minimum of five years of experience in investor relations related positions
• proven relationship management skills
• experienced interacting with and advising senior executives
• diploma or degree in communications, commerce or administration or equivalent experience
• excellent English writing and oral skills
• strong people skills for working on team projects
• computer skills (MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Excel)
• experience working in a fast-paced office environment
• knowledge of the energy industry and financial markets
